Aneesh drives Improvix’s direction with his entrepreneurial spirit and strategic vision. With a clear focus on customers’ missions and creating long-term value, he has guided the company through substantial growth while fostering a culture built around Respect, Honesty, Integrity, and Performance. Aneesh ensures employees feel heard, seen, and connected, as they grow their careers and contribute to high-impact programs.
Aneesh holds a B.S. in Decision Information Science from the University of Maryland – College Park (GO TERPS!) and completed the Entrepreneurship Program from the Robert H. Smith School of business. Outside of work, Aneesh is an avid D.C. sports fan and uses his sports obsession to drive team-building and competitive spirit throughout Improvix.
Nicole currently oversees all things people and culture, including Improvix’s talent acquisition, human resources, and employee engagement and development. She spent the first 12 years of her career as a Federal employee for the U.S. Department of State before joining Improvix as the Director of Business Operations. Her intimate understanding of federal contracts and budgets from the government’s perspective helps Improvix deliver tailored solutions that meet our customers’ needs and build long-term partnerships across multiple agencies.
Nicole holds an M.A. in English from Virginia Commonwealth University and a B.A. in English from George Mason University. In her free time, she is a voracious reader and enjoys spending time with her teenage son.
Ashley Nichols leads growth strategy, working collaboratively across the organization to drive a unified approach to customer acquisition and retention. With over 25 years of experience in growth, strategy, and operations, she is a passionate advocate for innovation and experimentation in support of the customer mission.
Ashley focuses on architecting long-term growth through strategic market positioning, cultivating key relationships, shaping organizational capabilities, and deepening customer trust and insight. Her leadership is grounded in a commitment to delivering value and fostering sustainable success.
Ashley holds a B.A. in English from James Madison University. Outside of work, Ashley is an avid gardener, a devoted dog owner, and enjoys traveling with her husband.
Jack leads Improvix’s corporate innovation lab, “IPX CREATE,” where he collaborates with clients, partners, and employees to deliver high-value solutions. Jack also drives Improvix’s marketing strategy and branding initiatives for industry engagement. With a background in cloud, data, and cybersecurity, Jack focuses on strengthening the team’s technical capabilities and mission impact.
Jack holds an M.B.A. from Johns Hopkins University’s Carey Business School and a B.S. in Software Development & Security from University of Maryland Global Campus. Outside of work, Jack is a car enthusiast and likes to draw with graphite.
Desmond “Dez” Thomas plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing corporate strategy in both finance and business operations. He promotes and maintains the highest ethical standards across Improvix, ensuring full compliance with government regulations and accounting standards. He leverages data and analytics to drive organizational improvement and innovation. Ultimately his goal is to improve operational efficiency, increase workforce productivity, forge lasting customer relationships, and accelerate company growth.
Dez has an M.B.A. and B.S. in Accounting from George Mason University. Outside of work, Dez enjoys spending time with his 2 sons and volunteering at their school.
Hemal is responsible for leading the strategic direction, development, and delivery of IT solutions that support client needs. For over 20 years, Hemal has worked with technical teams to design, implement, and manage technology solutions, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and customer expectations. He is committed to technology innovation at Improvix, where he drives customer success by making sure that teams stay ahead of emerging technologies to improve service delivery and drive digital transformation.
Hemal holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer and Information Sciences from Sardar Patel University. Outside of work, Hemal likes to play volleyball and spend time with his wife and daughter.
